AS Processing’s Quality Management System is registered to AS9100 Revision D and ISO 9001:2015 through DNV — two of the world’s most recognized independent certification bodies. Our QMS is not a compliance exercise; it is the operating framework through which every job is planned, processed, inspected, and released.
Our quality control department operates from a dedicated 175 sq ft inspection and testing lab within our Fort Erie facility, fully equipped with chemical and conventional inspection instruments. From the moment a job is received to the moment it ships, our QC team is involved — reviewing documentation, monitoring process parameters, performing in-process inspections, and releasing to finished goods only when all acceptance criteria are met.

The aerospace industry’s quality management standard — built on ISO 9001 with additional requirements specific to aviation, space, and defence manufacturing. AS9100 Rev D registration demonstrates our commitment to the rigorous planning, risk management, and configuration control demands of aerospace prime contractors and their customers.
NADCAP — Chemical Processing
NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) is the gold standard for special process accreditation in the aerospace and defence industry. NADCAP accreditation for Chemical Processing means our processes have been audited and approved by the Performance Review Institute (PRI) on behalf of the world’s leading aerospace primes. It is one of the most demanding and respected accreditations a chemical processor can hold.
Controlled Goods Program (CGP / ITAR)
AS Processing is registered under Canada’s Controlled Goods Program (CGP), authorizing us to examine, possess, and transfer controlled goods as defined under the Defence Production Act. We also maintain ITAR compliance, enabling us to process components subject to U.S. export control regulations for defence and dual-use applications.
